On the 1st November 2009, The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance hosted an incredible evening of live music at Matter in London’s O2 in celebration of ICMP student graduation 2009.
Matter, one of the world’s leading live music venues acted as the perfect setting for this unforgettable event. The day started with an official ceremony where graduating students were awarded their certificates and prizes, then as the excitement built before an evening of live music the British Music Experience opened its doors to ICMP students for an inspiring and intimate asterclass with drummer Geoff Dunn (Bob Dylan/Van Morrison) and ICMP bass tutor Dave Marks.
Matter re-opened its doors in the evening for an exceptional gig where students were extremely excited to be supporting the headline act, famed big beat band, The Dub Pistols.
