Stamford Blues, Rhythm & Rock Festival -

Before we know it Summer will be upon us, and so will this music festival……

Solid Entertainments is delighted to announce that Stamford Blues, Rhythm & Rock Festival will be taking place at Stamford Corn Exchange Theatre on Sunday 17th June 2018!

To celebrate our first festival in Stamford, we will be bringing some well known names to the county from around the UK and across the English Channel.  With Danny Bryant Big Band headlining and five other very different, but striking bands in the line-up, this will undoubtedly be a great festival and one live music event not to miss in Stamford!

Europe’s leading Blues & Rock publication, Classic Rock’s The Blues Magazine, called Danny Bryant a “National Blues Treasure”, a title that he has worked tirelessly and passionately to earn.  Riding high on the European blues scene for over a decade, Danny returns to the UK with his a specially selected nine piece big band.  “This is something I have always wanted to do.  We are mixing the old with the new and will be playing Blues classics alongside modernising and re-presenting my own work in a classic big band format.  I am more proud of this show than anything I have ever done”.

You can get a feel for what the Danny Bryant Big Band are all about by having a look and listen to them playing “Temperature Rising” at

Félix Rabin – is a French twenty two year old singer-songwriter with a style that embodies the best of Rock and Blues and holds such passion and talent, that you will be blown away!

The Ryk Mead Band – working through many styles and genres, Ryk has certainly paid his dues and has a world of experience to draw, with a heart enshrined by a calling of the blues!

The Wilbur Project – are a four piece striped down R&B band from Rutland playing a mix of original material with not so obvious covers and injecting attitude and passion into R&B!

With this calibre of artist stepping on stage, festival goers will see top class live performances and hear a range of incredible sounds with sets that incorporate a creative mix of Blues, Rock and R & B, with a heavy sprinkling of brass in this year’s mix!
